Four Corners Emergency Management
March 15th, 2011 Meeting Minutes

The Four Corners Emergency Management met at Granny Shaffers in Joplin, Mo on March 15, 2011. The meeting was called to order by Candy Adams. The meeting was attended by 18 people.

The minutes from the previous meeting was read and motion by Tom Zeller and seconded by Greg Gaines to accept. Motion carried.

Treasurer Gary Roark reported no change from the previous report. He reported that the group has paid $500.00 to Radisson for next conference. There is approx $1600.00 in the account.

Discussion on the WEB EOC used by the States and local agencies. The group wants to use to site more to help with responses to disasters.

Conference exercise was discussed. The group wants to check into doing a beef exercise for the day. Also discussed was talking about the SNS, form files for it, and sheltering. If anyone has subjects they want to hear about, please contact Candy. Discussion was held on maybe looking for another location to have conference if the Radisson cannot furnish necessary rooms. Vendor costs were discussed and may need to be increased.

The next meeting will be on June 1st, 2011 at Noel, Mo at 11:00 am.
