The 2008 Four Corners Emergency Management Conference will be held December 10, 11 and 12 at the Radisson Hotel in Branson, Missouri.

The conference agenda will focus on mitigation, warning challenges, response and recovery and societal impacts of flooding.

Conference speakers will include Eve Gruntfest, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at the Trauma, Health and Hazards Center of the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Isabelle Ruin, Ph.D., Geographer at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado, will also present.

A response and recovery exercise will also be held during the conference to allow attendees the opportunity to practically apply the information they've been provided.

Registration is required. Fees will be $75.00 if paid by December 1, 2008 or $100.00 if paid at the conference.
